COMMUNICATION SHOWCASES AMERICAN FABRIC

Twenty-three enterprising communication students are creating group projects and one-minute film clips for the online film festival, American Fabric (www.americanfabric.tv/pages.php?p=About+Us). The Junior and Senior students are currently enrolled in COMM 414, a Business and Professional Speaking course taught by Dr. Connie Eigenmann at Fort Hays State University. They are responsible to conceptualize, write, cast, act, produce, costume, direct, film, edit and provide music for the project. Practice in critical thinking skills, democratization of work performance, and problem solving in small groups within a 6-week time frame is the objective. Preliminary showing of all films is at 9:30-10:20 am Monday, October 26 and Wednesday, October 28 in 114 Stroup Hall. The public is invited.
